Elm Park Primary school is in the London borough of Havering. It has been created by the merging of Ayloff Primary and Dnningford Primary and now has 65 staff and 410 pupils.
The school is just starting out on its journey towards embedding ICT into everything that they do. They are creating their action plan for developing ICT throughout the school. To assist them with this, their local authority ICT advisor has recommended that they sign up for Becta's Next Generation Learning Charter which helps them to work through the self-review framework and gives them something concrete to work on. They have so far made the first step of committing to the Charter and are working towards stage 2 - being recognised for ICT.
